This story is about the clash of interests of two teenage groups - prosperous St. Petersburg high school students and suburban street children. Set in the 90s of the 20th century. And although the life recreated in the story is pragmatic and sometimes cruel, there is no hopelessness in it, but there is a place for parental love, care for the weak and affection for them, and pure love, sacrifice and nobility. You read the story, look at the characters, and how the scab peels off, and underneath it turns out to be a living, “little fluffy soul.” The beginnings of the destruction of all sorts of walls between “incompatible in life” people, small and large, are surprisingly truthfully described. And as the leader of the street children, Genka Lis, correctly noted: “only in books is good and evil divided in space. In fact, the border runs inside. Inside every person. And each of the people fights with himself...”
