The publication presents photographs and photo postcards of the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries with images of Black Sea armored ships, squadron battleships and pre-dreadnought battleships from the collections of the Russian State Archive of the Navy (RGAVMF). The photographic documents placed in the illustrative part of the album are presented in ascending order of the numbers of archival files, the titles of which formed the basis for the captions. In each case, the codes under which the cases are stored in the funds of the Russian State Academy of Medical Sciences are given. At the end of the publication, brief information about the service of the Black Sea battleships is presented, starting from the date of enrollment in the fleet lists and ending with the date of transfer of the ship for dismantling for metal.
