Pasions continue to rage around the name of Nikolai Tsiskaridze. His successful activities in various fields evoke sincere respect and recognition from some, irritation and envy from others. Is it because today he is one of the few who is a truly significant personality in art, talented and irreconcilable with the cult of noisy mediocrity. “My theater. Book II" is a continuation of the autobiography created from the diary of 2003-2013. Having returned to the Bolshoi Theater after an injury that almost cost his life, he has to re-prove his right to the title of prime minister. Management is trying to slow down successful career development by declaring that “there are no irreplaceable people”; He is also not satisfied with the artist’s rapidly growing popularity among a wide audience thanks to TV. The real tragedy is the “reconstruction” of the Bolshoi Theater. A second wind is given by participation in galas of stars around the world, the projects “Kings of Dance” and “Russian Seasons of the 21st Century”, close cooperation with the Mariinsky Theater, an invitation to dance again at the Paris Opera, and the profession of a teacher. But fate presents new challenges. In the early 2010s, during the struggle for power in the Bolshoi Theater, loud scandals were provoked in order to slander and destroy Tsiskaridze. However, their organizers are defeated and find themselves severely punished by life. The dramatic, unpredictable plot of this book is full of happy, bright memories - about the achievements of students, creative victories, and most importantly, about people dear to the author: Semyonova, Pestov, Petit, Zhanmer, Grigorovich , Maksimova, Plisetskaya, Khazanov, Neyolova, Obraztsova, Vishnevskaya, Countess de Doria, Demidova, Wiener-Usmanova, Freundlich, Viktyuk, Gundareva, Allaya, Tchaikovskaya, Fomenko and others. The stories associated with them, full of humor and human warmth, lift the curtain on the dancer’s personal life. The book is designed for the widest audience. Most of the photographs are published for the first time. The publishing layout is preserved in PDF A4 format.
