There were gorse bushes in front of Sarah, she knelt down and crawled on all fours under the cover of the branches. This guy must be hiding around here somewhere. A couple of moments later she was convinced of this. Her head hit something hard that felt like a human head. She pulled back, jumped to her feet and lit the lantern. The beam fell on the figure of a man, he bent down and in the next moment rushed at her. She screamed. Something hit her hand, she dropped the lantern, it fell to the ground and went out. One hand of the unknown person covered her mouth. The second grabbed him by the throat. “Not a sound!” – a male voice hissed right into her ear. “If you scream, I will cut your throat.” She obeyed, and the stranger dragged her to the back wall of the site. Sarah tried to resist. He cursed quietly and hit her on the back of the head with the edge of his hand. “No nonsense!” – he warned. – Or you’re finished!
