In 2001–2002, the Perm newspaper “New Companion” for more than six months published the memoirs of the speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Region of the first convocation, ex-Minister of Regional and National Policy of Russia, Professor E. S. Sapiro. These memories became the basis of the book “Striptease with Humor,” published in Perm in 2003 and arousing great interest among readers. Although “Treatise on Luck” contains some stories from “Striptease...”, it is not a repetition or continuation of the first book. The new book is different in content (“five years later”), in form and even in its philosophy. The book uses photographs from the author’s personal archive.
