The book, based on field research as well as the study of archival sources, presents the results of a survey of two cemeteries located in the rural settlement of Murino, near St. Petersburg, next to the Devyatkino metro station. Despite the fact that these cemeteries are little-known and have never attracted the attention of historians and local historians; extraordinary personalities who have gone down in history are buried there: scientists, artists, clergy, athletes, etc. Military graves from the period 1941-1945 have been preserved in Murino. The book may be useful for those who love the historical heritage of the northern capital of Russia and are interested in works on necropolitics and culture.
