The essay “Popular History - from Electricity to Television” covers the period from ancient times to 1965 and is devoted to a chronological presentation of the stages of development of our civilization in the direction: Electricity - Magnetism - Telegraph - Telephone - Radio - Television. The author will remind the reader of the names of pioneer scientists and inventors and talk about their discoveries and inventions, present interesting illustrations, and even some diagrams, while the author promises not to overload the reader with theory and formulas, and to provide him with a lot of interesting and useful information.  The essay is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the work of Alexander Popov in 1895.
