Alexander Poznansky is the author of numerous articles and monographs about Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, published in the USA, Great Britain, Germany and Japan. Painstaking archival searches of recent years are reflected in a new biography of the composer, based on documentary materials - multi-volume correspondence and inaccessible memoirs of his contemporaries, as a result of which a completely different image of the genius of Russian musical art has emerged, not similar to the image of the genius of Russian musical art that was established in the 20th century.
