For the first time in Russian - a unique book: the destroyed novel by the classic of Ukrainian and Soviet science fiction V. Vladko “Air torpedoes are coming back.” In the events of the novel, which predicted a war between the USSR and the capitalist powers, future opponents were clearly discerned - including fascist Germany and Japan. However, in 1934 the novel turned out to be “out of favor.” Almost all printed copies of the book were destroyed, both the Soviet bibliography and the author were silent about the novel for decades, and the text that accidentally survived was still not accessible to either Russian or Ukrainian readers.
