The monograph is based on a scientific study in which the broadcast of Radio Liberty is considered for the first time in the context of the literary heritage of the Russian diaspora. The book is based on unique texts from programs of historical and literary value, recreated by the author from archival sound recordings. Some of them have not been published previously. This work is the first attempt to analyze programs with the participation of emigrant writers in different periods of broadcasting, and to systematize recordings from the audio archive by topic and genre. Particular attention is paid to the modern period of Liberty broadcasting, the adaptation of radio to the new multimedia environment; the transformation of editorial policy is traced. The book is addressed to students and teachers studying the history of Russian diaspora and broadcasting of foreign stations in Russian, journalists and literary critics specializing in modern literature, as well as all those who are not indifferent to the fate of Russian culture.
