My name is Teodosia and I am 11 years old. My mum and dad are Egyptologists and work at the Museum of Legends and Antiquities in London. I spent my whole life in this museum and know every nook and cranny of it; with my eyes closed I can find any sarcophagus, mummy... Although, to be honest, it’s better not to look for them. I have a special magical gift - I see curses inscribed in invisible hieroglyphs on ancient artifacts. And my mother brings large quantities of these artifacts to the museum. So my task is not only to correctly arrange all sorts of trinkets on shelves in the museum storage, but also to resist powerful dark forces. Admit it, not an easy task for an eleven-year-old girl, huh? Theodosia was once again convinced from her own experience that detecting black magic is a difficult and dangerous matter. When her friend, Sticky Will, dragged Theo to a performance by fakir Ovie Boobu, the girl quickly realized that this artist knew much more about magic than he wanted to show the audience. Meanwhile, at the Museum of Legends and Antiquities, Theodosia's brother, Henry, who came for spring break, reappears and unexpectedly discovers an artifact that has been hunted by alchemists from all countries for centuries. Soon one suspicious fakir in a black cloak will try to get his hands on the artifact...
