On the pages of this story, the author combines three independent story-episodes, one way or another connected with the once legendary raid minesweeper “Antelope” (as the sailors called their ship) in the late eighties, together. Each dialogue captured in time and the created atmosphere of the reality of that time again and again immerse the reader in the atmosphere of those years. Discussions on social, philosophical, and psychological topics, coupled with funny adventures and moral and ethical dilemmas of yesterday's naval school cadets, prompt the reader to think seriously about the past, present and future. Who knows, maybe, after reading this forgotten maritime story-tale of the eighties of the last century, someone will be able to find answers to their own unanswered questions about who we were then, at that time, what we dreamed of and what we wanted, who we have become now, and most importantly, who we will be tomorrow. The story is conceived as a kind of preface to the book “Antelope”, which is currently being prepared for publication.
