At present, the interest and variety of approaches to solving the problem of processing and destroying various types of accumulated and generated waste has increased significantly. This is due to the trend towards "greening" of the environment, as well as the increasing danger from rapidly accumulating toxic waste.The monograph discusses the main industrial technologies for the processing and destruction of waste of various origins and equipment for their thermal processing. It is shown that the use of low-temperature plasma is promising for the implementation of an environmentally friendly waste processing technology. The advantages of the method are high productivity with small dimensions of the equipment, the possibility of creating the desired gas atmosphere and the joint processing of various wastes without their preliminary sorting. High temperatures provide a greater depth of waste processing and an effective reduction in their volume.
