This almost mystical story began with the disappearance of the spectacular twenty-three-year-old blonde Kristina Ryumina, and the newspaper reporter Lenechka Bubleynikov began working on a book of memoirs of the famous scientist Olga Svyatoslavovna Dymova. Two events, at first glance completely unrelated, first gave rise to a series of mysterious, dramatic and funny collisions, and ultimately led to the exposure of a sophisticated killer. Former investigator Maxim Pechernikov and Kristina’s friend, journalist Oksana Lebedeva, who began the search for the girl, are met with fierce resistance from the semi-criminal “Order of White Marketers” and fanatics from the school of martial arts. At the same time, Bubleynikov is trying to find out who is threatening his life and interfering with his work on the manuscript, what Professor Bakhmin’s expedition was actually doing before the war in the Himalayas, and what is hidden behind Dymova’s words about her meetings with otherworldly forces. Bubleynikov and Oksana, former colleagues , met by chance near the metro, but it was a happy accident. By combining efforts and all the accumulated information, Pechernikov, Oksana and Lenechka Bubleynikov solve a carefully planned crime.
