Ksenia, or Niki, a staff editor and psychic of the Pythia newspaper, decided that the young author, who came to the editorial office with a very ordinary manuscript and introduced himself as Merlin, was an ordinary talker. His message that an ancient evil had broken out of the crypt made no impression on her. However, everything turned out to be not so simple, Niki realized this when she ran to his office at the boss’s call and saw the failed author in an unconscious state, glued to the ceiling by ectoplasm.
