Considered one of the masterpieces of Persian literature, this work tells the story of the emergence, sudden rise and expansion of the Mongol Empire in the 13th century, the life path of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire (1206-1227), as well as his three heirs. The book contains the records of the narrator - Ata-Melik Juvaini, who served with the Mongol rulers of Northern Persia and knew many of the main characters of his vivid stories. In them, he used the memories of his grandfather and father, who were also participants in many events in the history of the Mongol Empire.
