TV reporter Elin Dawson is preparing a program for Valentine's Day about three loving couples from different walks of life. Time is running out, and she still does not have candidates for the third couple - from high society. Unexpectedly, she learns of the engagement of wealthy businessman James Newmark, with whom she was once in love as a teenage girl and who treated her poorly. Deciding to persuade Newmark to take part in a TV show, Elin tricks herself into his office and... realizes with horror that nothing has changed: her youthful love for him has not faded away in her heart...
