The famous journalist Igor Korsakov, fulfilling an ordinary request from his colleague, finds himself drawn into a series of strange events. Back in the 1920s of the last century, the struggle of special services began for the possession of certain mysterious methods of influencing the human subconscious. Korsakov is also told about mysterious secret research conducted in the 1930s. These studies were allegedly based on some ancient manuscripts delivered from the legendary Shambhala, the country of the ancestors of mankind. Korsakov learns that in pursuit of these manuscripts, the Soviet special services waged a merciless struggle, supporting first one or another statesman. And the knowledge contained in these manuscripts is associated with many political events of that time. The folder in which documents delivered from Asia were stored was called the “Shambhala Archive”...
