In the Iliad, Homer describes a certain period of time in the tenth year of the Trojan War, but not the very end of the war. In this work A.A. Salnikov explores the question: how many days does Homer describe in his poem? The author comes to the conclusion that the traditionally indicated number of days as 51 does not correspond to reality. Based on the text of the poem, Salnikov proves that the number of days described in the Iliad should be considered different. It seems that Homeric scholars, and simply lovers of Homer, will be interested in knowing the more correct number of days described in the poem.
