"The History of Medieval Philosophy" by A. Stöckl, first published by the Moscow publishing house V. M. Sablin in 1912, is a fragment of a textbook by a famous German author, which covers the Middle Ages proper from the Carolingian Renaissance to the first stage of the Hundred Years' War. The reader is presented with ancient philosophers and Arab, Jewish and Christian thinkers who adopted their ideas. This book is also interesting as an illustration of how and what Catholic youth in Germany, Britain and other countries learned over the years, and as a monument to its time. People who also went down in the history of thought, this time in Russia, took part in the preparation of its first Russian translation. The publication is reproduced in modern spelling for the first time. The publishing layout of the book is preserved in PDF A4 format.
