The second bust - the same facial features, but the appearance of a ruler, self-confident and even a little arrogant. And between them is a whole life, very difficult, full of joy and despair, love and hatred... We know a lot about her and... not we know nothing! In Egyptian history, all information about her husband - the heretic pharaoh, the reformer pharaoh Akhenaten - and about herself was carefully destroyed, their burial places were not found, the available information was obtained only indirectly. If it were not for the amazing creations of the ancient sculptor Thutmes (whose name is also conventional) and his colleagues in the workshop, the world would hardly have known about such a queen. But, fortunately, we have many images of this family. And yet we know incredibly little about her life. Her parents are unknown, but at the same time she looks suspiciously like the reigning queen Tiye, the mother of her future husband Amenhotep IV, who later took the name Akhenaten. Unknown, where Nefertiti lived in her last years, although she raised the future pharaoh Tutankhamun. Moreover, from the moment of the “disappearance” of his beautiful wife, Pharaoh Akhenaten suddenly had a co-ruler, Smenkhkare (or Semnekhkare), surprisingly similar to a woman with a false beard... Neither the dates nor the circumstances of the death of Akhenaten and Nefertiti herself are known, the place of their burial is unknown... History diligently preserves their secrets. From time to time, sensational statements appear about the “find” of the mummy of Nefertiti. But one glance at the computer image of the restored face is enough to understand that if this is Nefertiti, then it is not at all the one that the sculptor Thutmes saw!
