The book by American journalist Peter Duffy “The Bielski Brothers” tells about a Jewish partisan detachment created in the Belarusian forests by three brothers - Tuvia, Asael and Zus Bielski. During the war years, Jewish partisans saved from death more than 1,200 people doomed to die in the ghettos created by the Nazis. This book is a tribute to the memory of three hero brothers and the first attempt to tell about their feat.
