The book is a systematic overview of the most famous combat pistols developed and produced from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. This work presents not only information on the design, characteristics and distinctive features of various models of pistols, but also personal impressions of the owners and users of some of the samples presented in the book, as well as brief reviews of historical events that served as the basis for the development and adoption of those or other systems.
