The novel takes place under President Medvedev. Senior police lieutenant Pyotr Ivanenko discovers the corpse of a disgusting creature resembling an alien. The policeman is recruited by the Federal Security Service and given the task of finding the killers in order to find living aliens. This leads to tragic consequences, as a result of which a revolution takes place in Ivanenko’s soul, and he clearly begins to see the truth. The authors reflect on the political situation in Russia and in the world, assess the actions of our government and the opposition, as well as modern opera and ballet, the work of Mikhail Bulgakov, Paul Verlaine and Salvador Dali. Entertaining in form, but deep in content, this novel invites you to think about many existential questions. According to the laws of the classic detective story, everything that happens is seen through the eyes of the main character, the camera is not taken away from Peter Ivanenko for a minute. And, becoming familiar with the worldview of the main character, the reader plunges with him into the atmosphere of modern Russian everyday life, reminiscent of a cheerful killer clown, colored with neon and exploding with firecrackers, and at the same time corroding human souls and corrupting our children.
