Adventure fiction, the heroes of which meet not only with mysterious prehistoric creatures that have survived entire eras, but also with people whose morals are not inferior to the morals of prehistoric creatures. The story “The Great Krabben” at one time caused the greatest displeasure of Soviet censorship, and the entire thirty thousand edition of this book was destroyed. This, however, did not in the least affect the character of the very energetic godless Serp Ivanovich Skazkin, who continued his cheerful adventures in “Territory of Sin”, and in “The Little One from the Egg”, and in “The Last Skipper”. The heroes of Gennady Prashkevich also meet with a different, possibly interstellar life (“Co-author”, “Childhood Toys”, “Ring for Three Wishes”), and the story “I Saw a Bigfoot” is also notable for the fact that it was written by the author back in school, somewhere at the very end of the 50s of the last century. But it’s still readable.
