From the author: Fate connected me with Ukraine through the fact of my birth. I was born in a Ukrainian village in the Voronezh region from a Ukrainian mother. As a teenager, I studied at a medical school, again in Ukraine - the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region. I loved Ukraine with all my heart – its air, language and culture. At the end of January this year, the Russian information space already smelled of war. On January 28, I wrote the poem “The tattered sails tremble,” and on February 1, “The country of bearish depths has risen again.” Then, a few days later, he posted on FB a poem written in 1414, “Where are you intelligent people.” And then, on February 22-24, the irreparable happens. War. My friend Don Cossack Sergei White Guard writes that Kyiv is being bombed by the Russians. This was a blow for me. A few days later I wrote the poem “Russian Bombs”. Unfortunately, being here in Russia and not being able to provide more effective assistance to Ukraine, I express my negative attitude towards this war in my poems. Glory to Ukraine!
