This is the first book in the country where, based on the evidence of intelligence officers - participants in this action - and with the help of the most secret documents, the history of the emergence of nuclear weapons, missiles and microelectronics in the USSR - essentially new industries that appeared in our country after the war thanks to scientists, industrial organizers and, of course, intelligence - was made public. All publications that appeared after This book differs from “BOMB” in that many of the most important moments of this story are falsified, full of cliches and unconfirmed legends. For example, it is almost universally stated that SAKHAROV created a hydrogen bomb, although the device he tested called “sloyka” led nuclear scientists of the USSR into a long-term dead end, which was provoked by the American intelligence services.
