George Miller is an Australian director who became famous throughout the world as the creator of a series of cult films about Mad Max. A doctor by training, Miller always felt an irresistible craving for cinema and began making his first short films in his youth. In 1979, he directed his first feature film, Mad Max, with an unknown Mal Gibson, and instantly became famous. Many years have passed since then, and Max Rockatansky still remains the main character of dieselpunk. This is the story of two heroes - the mad Max and the brilliant Miller. What a path they went through, how they had to edit the film in the kitchen and raise money for filming literally through friends, how some actors agreed to film for a glass of beer, and how in the end Max and Miller became legends.
