We made a tandem ourselves - a bicycle for two, setting the goal in the summer of 2001 to ride under our own power all the way to the Pacific Ocean. The road ahead is long and not all covered with asphalt, and in a large section of the Chita and Amur regions it was unknown whether there were roads at all? Will we be able to overcome the entire path using our physical strength? This book is based on the diary of a trip along the route Penza - Vladivostok, made in the summer of 2001 by our family crew on a homemade tandem bicycle. We made entries in the diary together when there was free time or the need to write down something specific. The information was preserved in letters: paper letters, which we wrote together in a tent and in parking lots during our vacation, as well as typed on a computer (when one came across) and sent by e-mail. The book was written in the first person. But this is the fruit of our joint work. On its pages we talk about impressions and thoughts, both common and those of each of us. The book describes completely real events. There is no fiction in it, but on its pages there are emotions, reasoning, analysis of current situations, our behavior and well-being.
