Unique memories of the T-34 commander, who fought on the front line for more than a year - for a tanker this was a huge period of time, because tank units often fought literally “to the last vehicle”: they were withdrawn to the rear for reorganization only after the loss of all armored vehicles. The author burned 5 times in damaged T-34s, but he himself burned more than a dozen German tanks, and the destroyed guns, vehicles, firing points and manpower of the enemy “were not even counted.”
