“The Serene Radiance of Truth” is the first book in Russian containing the teachings of Lopyon Tsechu Rinpoche (1918–2003), a teacher of Tibetan Buddhism, one of the highest lamas of the Tibetan traditions of Drukpa Kagyu and Karma Kagyu. Material for the collection “The Serene Radiance of Truth” provided unique explanations of the four types of bardo, or intermediate state, as described in the “Mirror of Mindfulness” by Tsele Natsog Rangdryol (17th century), a famous master of the Kagyu and Nyingma schools. Rinpoche gave these lectures in 1992 in Rodby (Denmark). The author explains in detail the meaning of the term "bardo", which usually refers to the period between two lives, from the death of the physical body to the next conception. The appendix to the collection includes two more articles by Rinpoche, published in the Polish magazine Diamentowa Droga.
