The book by Alexander Gergel, a participant in the battles in Afghanistan, continues the series dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of our troops from this country. The author, who served for two years in the northeastern province of Badakhshan, drew the plots of his short stories from the daily life of his unit. Life, wherever it takes place, is full of a variety of incidents and emotions: here tears give way to laughter, harsh battle scenes are interrupted by lyrical digressions, and no war will prevent people from loving... Beautiful style, dynamic scenes, humor and irony - all this is present in the proposed collection, making reading easy and at the same time maintaining in the reader a sense of involvement in what is happening and the awareness that the stories are not made up.
