By the will of fate, Rasnodri Soldrow is forced to try on the guise of a Tang, an ancient fighter against monsters, despised by everyone. He is forced to independently comprehend the mastery of his new craft, because no one has seen tangs for a long time. And although in their absence everyone learned to fight monsters with improvised means, no one canceled the need for tangs. A chain of accidents leads Rasnodri through dangerous adventures, forces him to obtain an ancient magical artifact, kill a powerful monster, visit the other world and protect the capital of the Davur Empire from the army of the revived dead people. But only indirect remarks and guesses make the new Tang understand that he and his friends are just pawns in someone else’s plan. A plan drawn up by those whom the Tangs were destined to exterminate.

Книга "Танг" вразила мене своєю глибиною та оригінальністю сюжету. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу, в якій головний герой, Раснодрі Солдроу, змушений пройти через безліч випробувань, щоб осягнути мистецтво танга – стародавнього борця з монстрами. Цей процес самопізнання та боротьби з власними страхами робить його персонаж надзвичайно реалістичним і близьким. Я був вражений, як автор вдало поєднує елементи фентезі з глибокими філософськими питаннями про призначення, вибір і боротьбу за справедливість. Книга сповнена захоплюючих пригод, небезпечних зустрічей з монстрами та інтригуючих поворотів сюжету, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить фентезі та шукає щось нове і незвичайне!
