Some believe that the Zone has a Guardian. He helps those who live by honor and conscience: he protects them in battles, blurs the enemy’s vision, indicates the shortest path to the goal, and leads them to rare artifacts. Some claim that he lives in a hut in the Dancing Forest, others - that in a place that changes all the time, others - that he is everywhere and nowhere, he, like any spirit, can be called upon if you know the name.

Most people don’t believe in fairy tales at all. But any stalker considers it an honor to warm an unarmed traveler who asks to join the fire...

Strange things have been happening in the Zone for some time now. Entire territories disappear, and others appear in their place. Never-before-seen mutants are increasingly being spotted in the forests. And behind all this one can discern the consequences of a failed scientific experiment. Everything must be corrected by the expedition, the leader of which, taking into account all the mistakes made earlier, is ready for any surprises. But in the Zone you cannot provide for everything, even if you have a whole armored train at hand. And where irresponsible scientists, greedy bandits and stalkers come together in a desperate struggle for their interests, any victory may turn out to be “Pyrrhic.”

Max Kray has lost everything except faith in us, ordinary people. And therefore he will risk his life to save all our relatives and friends who are not even aware of the mortal threat. Together with a team of legendary Chernobyl stalkers, Max will have to fight bloodthirsty monsters, bypass the traps of the forbidden zone and stop those who intend to turn humanity into a race of aggressive mutants!
