What brought Ruth, Margalit, Claudine, Anna and several other women together into a group called “Transformations”? The answer is unusual: some of them have a daughter who is awaiting the birth of her first child, others have recently become grandmothers. The complex relationships that develop at this time between mothers and daughters; the changes that occur in women themselves force them to seek help. This is how a support group is created. Gradually, over the course of twelve meetings, their stories are revealed to us - stories about loss, adoption, separation, failed abortion and the reasons, obvious and hidden, that brought them to the group. A book written on the basis of conversations that the author conducted with women who are mothers of young mothers, or those preparing to become mothers, gives us an opportunity to look into the world of a modern woman in a modern family.
