Where is the fine line between madness and hope? Before us are three women: one believes that she has found her daughter, the other is afraid that she is losing her child, the third is trying to understand who she really is. Stella is a successful forty-year-old woman. She works as a psychotherapist and lives in a beautiful home with her loving husband and teenage son. But one day a girl named Isabella comes to see her, and Stella’s neat, correct life begins to crumble. She is convinced that Isabella is actually her daughter, Alice, who disappeared many years ago under mysterious circumstances. The police then came to the conclusion that little Alice had drowned, but no body was found, and Stella always believed that she was alive. Stella sees in Isabella a clear resemblance to her daughter, but most importantly, she feels in her heart that this girl is not a stranger to her. Those around her fear for Stella's mental health and believe that an old trauma is making itself felt. Meanwhile, Isabella has her own secrets and her own reasons for attending psychotherapy sessions. Who lies? Who is telling the truth? Where are hallucinations and where is reality? Only by going with the heroes to the very end will we find out the answers to these questions.
