The book is dedicated to little-known or little-studied pages of the history of the Upper Kama region (Perm the Great). The author made extensive use of scientific and popular science literature, drawing on materials from his own research, information from archives, and archaeological expeditions. A number of issues - the Vishera factories, the location of the town of Pokchi, the events of 1547, details about the Great Perm princes and Oks, about the people of Erana, etc. - are covered with such completeness for the first time.

In general, the author has created an interesting popular science a book of local history, one of those that, unfortunately, almost no one writes in our commercial times. And it is unlikely that anyone will take on such work in the near future.
