Донован Крід - персонаж, який викликає симпатію, незважаючи на свої темні вчинки. Автор майстерно зображує його внутрішні конфлікти, коли він опиняється між виконанням контракту та своїм почуттям справедливості. Ідея експерименту Віктора, що ставить людей перед вибором між життям і смертю, змушує задуматися про етику, справедливість і ціну, яку готові платити люди за гроші. Книга наповнена напруженими моментами, несподіваними поворотами сюжету та глибокими роздумами про людську природу. Я не міг відірватися від сторінок, і кожен розділ тримав у напрузі до самого кінця. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі трилери з елементами психологічної драми!
