Thomas Swaaker, an adventurer and the Great Schemer of Advertising, successfully sets traps and snares for his clients and thanks to this, by the age of fifty he becomes a multimillionaire and a Pillar of Society. Swaaker decides to hand over the business to a reliable and capable successor and retire. Alex, a young guy who vegetates for a meager salary, responds to Swaaker’s ad in the city newspaper, responding to complaints from customers dissatisfied with the quality of the microwaves and vacuum cleaners they bought.
