The secret work of intelligence services has always attracted the attention of not only professionals, but also the general public, journalists, and readers. It would seem that such incompatible concepts as secrecy and publicity are actually located in the same information field. Participants in the events tell about how the KGB press bureau, and later the FSB Central Operations Center, were created, what difficulties their leaders and employees went through.
