Sergei Yesenin (1895–1925) is a Russian poet, whose amazing and multifaceted talent gave the world amazing lyrics, rollicking lines of tavern poems, and thoughtful discussions about the Motherland. Glorifying his native nature, Rus'-Russia, love for life and the world, Sergei Yesenin seems to put into words our own feelings and emotions, sensitively conveys the mood and penetrates into the depths of the soul. During his short life, the poet published about 30 poetry collections, reflecting a change in worldview and author's interests. “Radunitsa”, released in 1916, marked the beginning of the recognition of Sergei Yesenin as a singer of Rus', in whose sincere and frank poems we still feel the beating of a restless, tender heart.
