Two childhood friends live in the most beautiful and mystical city in the country - St. Petersburg. The girls enter a theater university, and both fall in love with classmate Mikhail. If everything goes well for Aglaya - she becomes Mikhail’s bride, and they are invited to act in films, then Masha can only suffer in silence and envy.
