On the edge of a green forest there was a small house in which lived a hamster named Homi. His house was not exactly small, but not big either. It had everything he needed - a crib with soft pillows and a warm blanket, a stove to keep the house warm and cozy in the fall and winter, a table in the kitchen, and three chairs for his hamster friends. Hamster Homi is a very businesslike hamster and spent the whole weekend doing useful and important household chores. On Saturday he worked in his garden and vegetable garden, and on Sunday, for example, he washed and heated the bathhouse.
