Problems of love, family and state are topics widely discussed both in the West and in Russia. However, this essay differs from all studies, primarily in that Alex Battler brought such famous words as love, family and marriage to the conceptual level. This gave the author the opportunity to correlate them with the concept of power and progress, which he substantiated in the book “Dialectics of Power: Ontobia,” and, ultimately, to determine the natural connection between the destruction of marriage and the collapse of the state in the context of the law of increasing entropy, or the “law of death.” The theoretical, philosophical part of the work is supplemented by sociological data showing a comparative picture of the situation of family and marriage in the West and in Russia. Despite the seriousness of the topics, the work was written in the genre of a journalistic essay, i.e. in a language that made the text accessible to a wide range of readers interested in named problems.
