What do we know about this book? That when it seemed that writing books had become pointless, because there was clearly no meaning in any human affairs anymore, I wanted to write an ideal (from my point of view) novel. And it will be the first in a series of books that I wrote just like that, as a gift to myself. About what interests me and what I like. Here, for example, about Vilnius and Lane, about Grai-Kan and the endless steppes of Ulim-haya, about Tensi, in the end. About ourselves and our friends, how we have a great time with them when we meet or dream, or reinvent each other because we forgot, but we can’t stop remembering. And about how together we are even in separation, when between us there are not just thousands of kilometers, but rivers of time flowing in different directions, events that did not happen and unattainable worlds. And about how excellent we turned out to be from our inexplicable Author. How cool it is to be us in any circumstances.
