Calvin has never been behind the ice wall that protects the sisters of Antaris from the world of Tremaris. She knows only everyday affairs, studying to be an ice priestess, caring for bees, singing ice spells and dreaming. But then Calvin makes friends with Darrow, a mysterious Stranger who appears at the wall and warns of danger. To help Darrow see the world and perhaps save it, Calvin will leave the safety of the wall to travel with a man she barely knows, an adventure as beautiful and dangerous as the melody of the enchantment itself.
