James Clancy Phelan is an Australian writer, published as James Phelan. After leaving school, he trained as an architect, but his love for English literature forced him to continue his education, and, having received a Master of Arts degree, James devoted himself entirely to writing. His first book became a collection of author interviews with contemporary Australian writers called Literati, then he began publishing short stories. The first novel, Fox Hunt, was published in 2006 and turned out to be a commercial thriller of a fairly high standard. The series of novels was continued with the books “Patriot Act”, “Liquid Gold”, “Blood Oil”, “Red Ice” and received wide recognition among both readers and professionals. The writer also wrote a series of teenage post-apocalyptic novels presented in this publication "Loner." Книга "Одинак" - це неймовірна подорож у світ постапокаліптичних реалій, яка захоплює з перших сторінок. Автор, Джеймс, зумів створити яскравий і насичений світ, де молоді герої стикаються з викликами, які вимагають від них не лише фізичної сили, а й моральної стійкості. Цей роман не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про важливі питання дружби, виживання та людяності в умовах катастрофи. Стиль написання Джеймса вражає своєю простотою та водночас глибиною, що робить книгу доступною для підліткової аудиторії, але водночас цікавою і для дорослих. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі сюжети з елементами драми та пригод. Це справжній шедевр, який залишає по собі глибокий слід у серці читача!
