The book by a Mongol journalist contains a colorful description of the Tatar-Mongol conquests in the first half of the 13th century. In the historical memory of the Russian people and other peoples who were subject to the Mongol conquest, Batu’s campaigns were preserved as a catastrophic disaster that brought death and suffering to hundreds of thousands of people, accompanied by the destruction of cities and the destruction of cultural values. But this, so to speak, is a view from the side of the “victims”. Choisamba's book expresses the view of these events from the side of modern descendants of ancient victors.
