The story “Cold Wall or “Empire” with a small “E”” is a so-called “dystopia” that describes the near future of the Russian Empire, which is isolated by the Wall from the whole world. What has the once majestic and powerful state become? What happened to a strong and prosperous country in just ten years of global isolation? Didn't Russia pay a high price for the sick desire to be at the “top of the world”?

The story has three storylines, the adventures are described and the characters of the three main characters are revealed. The first hero is a young military man, Lieutenant Sergei Kovalev, who from school, he is imbued with imperial ideas of the superiority of the “Russian world”, longs to prove himself for the good of Russia, but does not understand the reasons why his country has become an outcast. Only towards the end of the story does the young lieutenant begin to have doubts about the inviolability of the foundation of the “great mighty one”... The second main character is a young guy Pavel Kurshin, with completely opposite views than the first. Living in the Russian outback, he fully feels all the hardships of Russian reality. But he doesn’t want to put up with it, he’s not happy with this existence, he’s ready to do anything to break out, and he’s looking for a way to “get through the Wall”... The third main character is the ruler of the empire, who imagines himself to be the permanent, immortal Great Leader. His life and character are described, sometimes this is presented exaggeratedly and without due flexibility of features, but this was done deliberately, which should fully highlight the unhealthy qualities of his personality and expose the imperial ambitions of a crazy dictator.

The story gives the opportunity to someone then to think, for some to perk up, and for others to just enjoy reading and empathizing with the heroes. An exciting original plot, a relevant topic, and ease of reading will not leave the Reader indifferent.
