Mamed Seyid Ordubadi (1872 - 1950) - writer Ordubadi began literary activity at the age of 14-15. In the 20s, several collections of Ordubadi's poems were published, consisting of lyrical and satirical poems, translations and poems. At the same time, the writer gained fame as the founder of the historical novel genre in Azerbaijani literature. With his epic novel entitled “Foggy Tabriz” (1933-1948), consisting of four volumes, the writer laid the foundation for this genre in the literature of Azerbaijan
